KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) - Acting Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy and Minister of Public Works Noura Al-Mashaan on Monday inspected the West Doha Power and Desalination Plant following a minor incident caused by debris from the interception of a drone.
The Ministry of Electricity and Water said in a statement that Al-Mashaan reviewed the incident details and emergency measures, receiving briefings from technical teams on immediate response procedures and safety protocols.
She praised the swift actions of security and technical teams, noting the incident was contained without injuries and only minor material damage. Electricity and water operations remain stable, with ongoing inspections to ensure service continuity and preventive measures.
