KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Health announced Monday that 19 new injury cases of varying severity were received, most of them in stable condition, affirming the national health system continues to operate efficiently and steadily.
In a press statement, the ministry's spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said Al-Jahra Hospital received 18 cases, while Al-Adan Hospital received one case. Al-Sanad reiterated that the national health system remains stable, with outpatient clinics fully operational and primary healthcare centers across all governorates delivering services during regular hours.
He added that hospitals are dispensing medication as scheduled, non-urgent elective surgeries have resumed at specialized centers, and non-urgent procedures in general hospitals are being rescheduled, with patients to be notified of new dates soon. He noted that emergency departments remain fully operational around the clock, urging patients with non-urgent symptoms to visit primary healthcare centers, which operate during regular hours.
He stressed that the ministry continues to implement its operational and precautionary plans with efficiency to guarantee uninterrupted healthcare services and safeguard public health during this phase. (end) ns.sam
