BAGHDAD, March 2 (KUNA) -- Iraq's Civil Aviation Authority announced on Monday that it has prolonged the country's airspace restriction for another 48 hours.
In a statement, the authority said the suspension of all arriving, departing, and transit flights will last until 12:00 p.m. local time (0900 GMT) next Wednesday.
The decision was based on a continued assessment of the security situation and recent regional developments, following a comprehensive review of relevant data, adding that the measure will be reassessed in light of any new developments. (end) ahh.sam
