KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- Two workers were slightly injured when shrapnel fell on Ahmadi Refinery at dawn Monday, KNPC and KIPIC reported.
Teams rushed to immediately deal with the situation and the injured where whisked to Adan Hospital and their health conditions were stable, Ghanem Al-Otaibi, spokesman of Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company, said in a statement.
He assured that operations and production at the refinery were not affected, and fast response plan was activated.
Al-Otaibi said Ahmadi Refinery was operating in full capacity. (end) md.bs
