KUWAIT, March 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received a phone call Sunday from UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who strongly condemned the blatant Iranian attack on the territory of the State of Kuwait.
During the call, the British Prime Minister expressed the United Kingdom's firm denunciation of the assault, describing it as a flagrant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, security and airspace, as well as international law and the UN Charter.
He also condemned attacks that targeted civilian facilities, affirming the United Kingdom's rejection of such aggression.
Prime Minister Starmer underscored his country's solidarity with Kuwait's leadership, government and people, supporting all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and security, and expressing readiness to extend all possible support.
His Highness conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to His Majesty Charles III, voicing appreciation for the United Kingdom's steadfast stance.
