KUWAIT, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi congratulated on Tuesday the political leadership and the people of Kuwait on the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day.
In remarks to KUNA, Minister Al-Awadhi said that this national occasion represents a bright milestone in the history of Kuwait, during which the nation recalls the journey of the fathers and grandfathers in building the state and establishing its institutions. It is also time to remember the sacrifices of the martyrs who, with their blood, wrote the epic of liberation so that Kuwait may remain an oasis of security and safety, he noted.
He added that celebrating the National Day and Liberation Day is a renewal of the pledge to uphold the values of loyalty and belonging to reinforce the meanings of national unity, solidarity, and rallying around the wise leadership in order to preserve the nation's achievements and safeguard its development path.
Al-Awadhi prayed to Almighty Allah to bless Kuwait with continued progress, prosperity, security and stability under its wise leadership. (end) mnm.onm
