KUWAIT, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- The Meteorology Department has forecast stable weather across Kuwait, with fog expected to form from Monday evening until Tuesday, significantly reducing horizontal visibility in some areas.
In remarks to KUNA, Director of the department, Dhirar Al-Ali, said Kuwait is currently under the influence of a high-pressure system accompanied by a humid air mass and calm winds, which will contribute to stable weather conditions and fog formation starting tonight and lasting into Tuesday.
Al-Ali added that the fog is expected to lower horizontal visibility to less than 1,000 meters in some areas, particularly coastal regions, and may completely obscure visibility in certain locations. He cautioned motorists, seagoers, and residents to exercise care due to these conditions.
He also noted that the minimum temperatures are expected to range between 10 C and 13 C, while maximum temperatures will range between 27 C and 29 C. (end) zhr.aa
