GAZA, Feb 9 (KUNA) - Health authorities in Gaza reported on Monday that five Palestinians were killed and 10 others were injured over the past 24 hours amid continued violations by the Israeli occupation of the ceasefire agreement.
Authorities stated that occupation forces carried out air and artillery strikes, direct gunfire, and demolition operations targeting Palestinian homes in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
The report added that since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 11, the number of Palestinians killed has reached 581, with 1,553 injured, in addition to the recovery of 717 bodies from under the rubble.
Health authorities noted that the cumulative toll of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,032 killed and 171,661 injured. (end) wab.dss
