ABU DHABI, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- The UAE Friday voiced its strong condemnation of the "terrorist" attack that targeted a mosque in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of people.
In a press release, the UAE Foreign Ministry said that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts, and reiterates its firm rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism that undermine security and stability.
It also offered its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims, and to the government and people of Pakistan, while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
At least 24 people lost their lives while over 100 others sustained injuries after an explosion ripped through a place of worship in Pakistan's federal capital Islamabad earlier Friday. (end) skm.mt
