MOSCOW, Feb 5 (KUNA) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday that Russia remains ready to contribute to resolving the current complexities in the Middle East in line with previously concluded agreements.
In a press statement, Lavrov warned that the current escalation between Washington and Tehran carries serious risks that could extend across the Middle East, calling for restraint and a return to diplomatic channels.
He said that the Israeli occupation, US, and Iran are aware of Moscow's readiness to help ease tensions, noting that it's working to prevent further deterioration that could threaten regional security and stability. (end) dan.seo
