RIYADH, Feb 3 (KUNA) -- Director General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Joint Program Production Institution (JPPI), Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Sabah praised on Tuesday the participation of media institutions and content creators from various countries at the Saudi Media Forum, saying it reflects regional media development.
In a press statement on the sidelines of his participation in the forum, currently held in Riyadh from February 2 to 4, Sheikh Mubarak said the institution is taking part with a dedicated pavilion at the accompanying Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX).
He said that this is in line with its approach to supporting Gulf media events and strengthening its presence among active regional media organizations.
He noted that the pavilion showcases a selection of the institution's works and programs that reflect the shared Gulf identity, in addition to introducing a number of new productions scheduled for launch during the current year.
Sheikh Mubarak said the accompanying media exhibition represents an important platform to highlight the latest technologies and innovations in media and digital production, stressing that it offers an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and exchange expertise among Gulf, Arab, and international media entities.
