DUBAI, Jan 31 (KUNA) -- The UAE-Kuwait Economic Forum will take place on Monday (February 2) as part of the week marking fraternal relations between the UAE and the State of Kuwait, which lasts until February 4.
Coming under the direction of both sisterly countries' wise leaderships, the forum mainly aims at enhancing economic, trade and investment bonds and highlighting deep historical relations, as reported by the UAE's official news agency (WAM).
The gathering is deemed an ideal platform to explore investment opportunities, develop trade exchange in vital sectors, share views on economic environment evolutions and open new horizons of joint cooperation, it said.
It is also intended to promote business bonds and highlight both nations' success stories and tackled the future of UAE-Kuwait relations in a way that reflects firm historical economic ties between the UAE and Kuwait.
The agency quoted UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Thani Al Zeyoudi as saying that the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait form a solid foundation for developing deeper and more sustainable trade and investment cooperation.
He added that this contributes to building quality partnerships between the business communities in the two countries, opening up broader horizons for investors, and enhancing the integration of supply chains in such sectors as trade, industry, the new economy, renewable energy, and logistics.
