GAZA, Jan 31 (KUNA) - At least 11 Palestinians were killed and dozens more seriously injured on Saturday morning in a series of airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation targeting displaced persons' tents and residential homes across the Gaza Strip.
According to a statement issued by official Palestinian media authorities, Israeli warplanes struck a displaced persons' tent in Khan Younis in southern Gaza and a residential home in Gaza City in the north. Among the 11 Palestinians killed were seven members of a single family, including five children, a woman and an elderly person.
Since the signing of the ceasefire agreement on October 10 of last year, the statement noted, Israeli forces have committed 1,450 violations. (end) wab.aa
