KUWAIT, Jan 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Air Sports Club and Jazeera Aviation Club, of the United Arab Emirates, co-organized a ceremony on Friday to honor the participants in the March of Affection, a joint airshow from the UAE to Kuwait.
Yesterday's air sports event materialized the depth of the sisterly ties and cooperation between both countries, said chairman of Kuwait Air Sports Club Ahmad Al-Shallahi in statements to KUNA.
He praised the pilots for the efforts they made in the successful initiative, appreciating the call of UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed on November 21 for launching this initiative as part of week-long celebration of historical ties.
On his part, Abdullah Al-Naimi, head of the public relations dept of Jazeera Aviation Club, said the UAE President's initiative mirrored the noble values of fraternity and cooperation between both countries.
The deep-rooted people-to-people relations gain momentum in the course of time under the wise instructions of the leaders of both countries, he said in a speech to the ceremony. (end) ajr.tab.gb
