RIYADH, Jan 27 (KUNA) -- Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman affirmed on Tuesday that the Kingdom would not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military action against Iran.
The Crown Prince made these remarks during a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During the call, the Saudi Crown Prince emphasized Riyadh's commitment to respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He stressed that the Kingdom will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military action or attack against Iran from any party.
He also expressed the Kingdom's support for any diplomatic effort aimed at resolving regional disputes through dialogue to enhance security and stability in the region.
For his part, the Iranian President updated the Crown Prince with the latest domestics developments and the current status of the talks regarding Iran's nuclear file.
President Pezeshkian expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom for its steadfast position on Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity and his appreciation for the Crown Prince's efforts to achieve maintain regional security and stability. (end) kns.ibi
