RAMALLAH, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation settlers on Sunday set fire to two Palestinian vehicles parked outside a home in the village of Attara, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, in the latest attack on Palestinians and their property.
Surveillance footage showed three settlers pouring flammable material on the vehicles before setting them ablaze and fleeing the scene.
The attack came hours after settlers assaulted a house in the nearby town of Birzeit, pelting stones at a family and seriously injuring the mother, who was taken to hospital, while the army later arrested three family members.
On Saturday evening, settlers also attacked two Palestinians in Beit Furik, east of Nablus, injuring them, according to Al-Baydar human rights organization.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said in a previous report that 2025 has seen one of the highest levels of settler and occupation violations against Palestinians since systematic documentation began. (end) nq.ahm
