KUWAIT, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Manpower carried out on Thursday a large-scale inspection in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, led by its Director General Rabab Al-Osaimi, as part of a comprehensive effort to regulate the work environment and protect all parties in the production process.
In a statement issued by the Authority, it said that the campaign is part of its ongoing efforts to regulate the labor market and make sure laws and regulated were complied with.
The campaign involved 37 inspectors who carried out 123 visits covering labor, occupational safety and health checks.
A total of 44 violations were recorded, while 79 establishments were found compliant after verifying adherence to labor laws and approved safety standards.
The authority noted that violations were documented for the first time through the electronic emergency inspection system, with instant digital notifications sent to employers.
Al-Osaimi affirmed that the authority will continue to intensify field inspection campaigns, in line with its key role in supporting economic development, ensuring labor market stability, and strengthening partnership with the private sector in line with public interest. (end)
