BRUSSELS, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said she held talks with the foreign ministers of a number of Arab partners, together with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, on regional issues.
Kallas said in a post on X on Thursday evening that the challenges facing the Middle East region require joint action focused on de-escalation and strengthening diplomatic tracks.
"Only dialogue and diplomacy will help achieve stability and security" in the region, she stressed.
Cyprus holds the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union from January 1 to June 30, 2026. (end)
