KUWAIT, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya met Thursday with Secretary of State of the Vatican Cardinal Pietro Parolin and discussed foundation of bilateral relations which were based on mutual humanitarian values.
These values are also based on dialogue, understanding and mutual respect, a foreign ministry statement said.
They also discussed means of boosting cooperation on issues of mutual interest, especially related to culture of peace, co-existence and promotion of human values.
It said they two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments, means of promoting security and stability, boosting dialogue amongst peoples and faiths, as well as supporting global peace initiatives.
Al-Yahya held banquet for the Vatican guest. (end) nmo
