KUWAIT, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait has set Sunday (February 18) as a public holiday marking the Muslim occasion of Al-Israa wal Miraaj (Prophet's Ascension), the Civil Service Commission (CSC) said on Monday.
Work will resume as normal on Monday (January 19), while state bodies with a "special work nature" will have their holidays determined by their own internal management, putting into account "public interest", CSC said in a statement to KUNA. (end) zak.mt
