CAIRO, Jan 4 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Red Crescent announced on Sunday, delivered more than 6,700 tons of urgent humanitarian aid, relief supplies and winter assistance to the Gaza Strip under the "Zad Al-Ezza...From Egypt to Gaza" convoy.
In a statement, the organization said the convoy's 108th day included over 4,900 tons of food parcels and flour, near 500 tons of relief supplies, 200 tons of personal care items and 1,100 tons of petroleum products.
Responding to severe weather conditions in the area, it added that further winter supplies were dispatched including more than 1,300 blankets, 25,000 winter clothing items and 300 tents for displaced families.
Meanwhile, the "Zad Al-Ezza...From Egypt to Gaza" initiative was launched on July 27, 2025, delivering tons of aid, including food supplies, flour, infant formula, medical equipment, medicines, personal care items and fuel. (end) asm.nsa.hs
