CAIRO, Dec 26 (KUNA) -- Egypt's Al-Azhar Grand Imam Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayyib called for urgent solidarity with the innocent in Gaza who are facing tough weather conditions concurrently with the ongoing Israeli occupation attacks. On his "X" account on Friday, Al-Tayyib said what Gaza is experiencing in terms of harsh weather conditions is a true test of humanity's conscience. He noted that innocent people who survived aggression and an almost unbearable genocide are now facing rain, storms, and severe cold, referring to children who have nothing to protect them from the harshness of winter.
The Grand Imam indicated that this painful humanitarian scene puts the entire world before an urgent moral and human responsibility, stressing that "either to show solidarity to save them, or to participate in deepening their suffering and wounds." (end) asm.mnf.hm
