BEIRUT, Dec 24 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation warplanes carried out an air assault on Wednesday, launching a series of strikes on Wadi al-Nemiriyeh in the Nabatieh region, firing several air-to-ground missiles whose explosions echoed across the area.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), less than fifteen minutes later, Israeli aircraft carried out a second airstrike targeting Wadi Houmine.
The air assault coincided with intensive drone activity over the towns of Doueir, Sharqiya, Nemiriyeh, Toul, Nabatieh, Zebdine, and Jebchit, at medium altitude, it added.
The Israeli occupation forces have recently escalated the pace of their attacks and targeting of Lebanese towns, despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27, 2024. (end) ayb.bb
