KUWAIT, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior forces have detained two persons accused of ramming into a military personnel member on duty at Al-Wafra farming region in Al-Ahmadi Governorate.
The military man, who was injured in the hands and left leg, had been whisked to Sabah Al-Ahmad Hospital and was discharged after treatment, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
Separately, two vehicles, drivers of which were detained for reckless and irresponsible driving, had been crushed, it said.
Reckless driving, bids to escape or attack security forces on duty are grave offenses that endanger lives, the MoI statement, affirming the ministry deals with these cases with no leniency. (end) hmd.rk
