KUWAIT, Dec 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah granted on Saturday three police officers the rank of Brigadier General, in implementation of Amiri Decree No. 235 issued on 14 December 2025.
The promotion ceremony was held in the presence of Ministry of Interior's Undersecretary Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib and the ranks were given to Abdulaziz Al-Omairi, Abdulwahab Al-Othamn and Mohammad Al-Maziad, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.
These upgrades came in recognition of the sincere efforts exerted by these promoted officers during their path that contributed to cementing security and stability, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf said.
He urged security officials to pursue their duties in a teamwork spirit, and abide by implementing law as well as upgrade performance in a way that complies with the wise political leadership directives, the statement said.
The Ministry affirmed the continuation of backing and empowering security efficient officials for promotion in a manner that contributes to raising professional performance and strengthening the pillars of security and stability in the country, the statement concluded. (end) ajr.tab.hm
