RABAT, Dec 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) Director General Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met on Wednesday in Rabat with Morocco's Minister of Transport and Logistics Abdessamad Kayouh, to discuss boosting cooperation in civil aviation.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Sheikh Humoud said in a statement that they reviewed ways to expand air operations between the two countries to strengthen air connectivity, improve service efficiency, and enhance safety and security standards.
They underscored exchanging technical expertise, cooperating in training and capacity building, and coordinating positions in regional and international aviation forums to support the sector's growth and sustainability in both countries.
Both sides reiterated their keenness to deepen bilateral ties and activate joint cooperation frameworks in line with rapid developments in the aviation industry and to strengthen Arab integration in this vital sector.
Sheikh Humoud thanked Morocco for its technical support during an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) audit of aviation safety procedures, commending the gesture as a reflection of the strong historical ties between both sides. (end)
