KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 (KUNA) -- Australian police on Wednesday accused the surviving suspect in the recent mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney of terror crimes and 15 counties of murder.
New South Wales Police said in a press release that the police would argue at court that the involved gunman had killed a number of people, seriously injured dozens and endangered many others' lives.
It added that the two suspects are Sajid Akram, 50, was killed in an exchange of fire with police at the scene, and his son Naveed Akram, 24.
On Sunday, fifteen people were killed and dozens of others were injured in the attack, which targeted an event at the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney. It was the country's deadliest shooting since 1996. (end)
