KUWAIT, Dec 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday condemned the drone attacks on UN facilities in Sudan on Saturday, killing several of the UN personnel.
The ministry affirmed in a statement necessity of preserving Sudan's unity, stability, protecting the UN installations and the workers vis a vis such attacks.
It renewed the call for an instant cease-fire, resorting to dialogue to spare innocent lives and pave the way for delivery of humanitarian aid to the afflicted regions.
According to media report, drone attacks targeting the UN logistics base in Kadugli, Sudan, on Saturday, killed six peacekeepers and injured eight others. (end) nma.rk
