CAIRO, Dec 12 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait on Friday affirmed its keenness on partaking in activities that support joint Arab action in various spheres.
This approach is the basis for pan-Arab cooperation, exchanging experience and boosting Arab presence at regional and international quarters, said Ambassador Talal Al-Mutairi, the State of Kuwait Permanent Delegate at the Arab League in a statement to KUNA.
Ambassador Al-Mutairi was speaking during participation in activities held in Libya under umbrella of "Tripoli Media Days," forum, namely the 2025 Arb-International Media Dialogue Forum that began on Thursday and inauguration of the National Libyan Museum.
He indicated that debates during the forum focused on topics such as the Arab identity, making of media content, media personnel training, developing digital content and employing artificial intelligence in the media.
The Kuwaiti delegate indicated that the forum followed up on executive plan of the Arab media strategy, adopted by the ministerial Arab media council, focusing on support for the Palestinian cause, combating extremism and terrorism as well as promoting the Arab identity.
He lauded the inauguration of the face-lifted Libyan museum incubating priceless items that symbolize the national cultural-archeological heritage after the authorities managed to retrieve unique and historic relics from abroad.
Activities held on the forum sidelines were attended by Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government Abdul Hamid Al-Dbeibeh, Libyan Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi, Arab League Assistant Secretary-General for Media and Communication Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Arab information ministers, representatives of ministers, ambassadors of Arab League member states, media figures, experts, influencers and bloggers.``` The participants included various government and diplomatic representatives, heads of labor unions and organizations with an observer's status at the Arab media council, including the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) AND the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
