KUWAIT, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) affirmed on Thursday its keenness to enhance cooperation with the Russian Federation in the economic and commercial fields through the exchange of trade delegations, the holding of exhibitions, and increasing available investment opportunities and trade laws.
In a press release issued after receiving a delegation of business owners from the Russian Federation representing information and communications technology companies, the (KCCI) stressed the need to exert more effort to increase the volume of intra-regional trade and investment partnerships in order to achieve the desired economic goals.
It pointed out the need to increase the volume of cooperation with the Russian Federation, especially since it possesses great economic capabilities and considered one of the leading countries in the fields of cybersecurity and technology, the press release added.
The statement said that the Russian delegation considered this visit to reflect the depth of trade relations between Kuwait and the Russian Federation, stressing that there are many investment opportunities in the field of information and communication technology.
The Russian delegation called on Kuwaiti companies to forge strategic partnerships with their Russian counterparts to open new economic horizons between the two friendly countries.(end) aab.amh.nha
