CAIRO, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and supply, Major General Engineer Salah Al-Azmi held a series of meetings with military delegation leaders participating in the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2025).
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Wednesday that the meetings took place during the participation of a Kuwaiti Army delegation headed by Maj. Gen. Al-Azmi in the exhibition, held in Cairo from December 1 to 4.
According to the statement, Al-Azmi met with Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Ahmad Khalifa and Tunisian Army Chief of Staff Tunisian Army Chief of Staff is Major General Mohammad Al-Ghoul.
The discussions focused on enhancing military cooperation with Egypt and Tunisia, particularly in supply, logistics, and support services, they also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest to strengthen joint military efforts.
Al-Azmi also met with several heads of other participating delegations to explore prospects for cooperation and the exchange of expertise in defense industries and military supply systems.
The meetings included reviews of the latest technologies and systems presented by international companies to support development and readiness within military institutions.
EDEX is considered one of the region's leading defense and security exhibitions, bringing together global companies and military organizations to showcase the latest advances in weapons systems and defense technologies. (end)
