KUWAIT, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraian on Thursday held talks with Major General Yousef Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), on means of boosting cooperation in the military field.
The military said in a statement that the discussions were held when Lt. Gen. Al-Shuraiaan received Maj. Gen. Huneiti and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of their official visit to the country.
The Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff and his guests visited Mubarak al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College (MAJCSC).
Maj. Gen. Huneity was briefed about the college's role in habilitating military commanders, its academic and training programs for enhancing leaders' skills and officers' operating potentials.
The meeting was attended by the Jordanian Ambassador Senan Al-Majali and senior Kuwaiti and Jordanian officers. (end) hmd.rk
