ISLAMABAD, Nov 24 (KUNA) -- Pakistan’s paramilitary Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province came under attack on Monday morning, killing at least three attackers so far, said police.
A senior police official, CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad in a statement to media, confirmed the attack saying that "the FC headquarters in Peshawar city is under attack and we are responding to it." According to initial police reports, a suicide bomber blew himself off at the FC headquarters gate located near Saddar Main Road of Peshawar city, the provincial capital.
At least three militants were killed so far while security forces have cordoned off the area conducting a security and clearance operation.
