KUWAIT, Nov 19 (KUNA) -- Omani Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Saleh Al-Kharousi said that Oman's participation as Guest of Honor at the 48th Kuwait International Book Fair underscores the strong bilateral cultural.
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Kharousi described the bookfair as a major cultural platform that attracts broad local and international interest, adding that Oman values participating in such events due to its rich cultural diversity and its close, fraternal relationship with Kuwait.
He noted that Oman's contribution goes beyond books to include historical, architectural, and maritime heritage exhibits, as well as traditional art and music.
Regarding Kuwait being named Arab Capital of Culture and Media this year, Al-Kharousi praised the title as befitting for a country with deep heritage and intellectual prominence, especially during its presidency of the GCC's Supreme Council. (end) shd.seo
