KUWAIT, Nov 15 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) on Saturday participated in the inauguration of the Bambeto Interchange Project in Guinea, attended by President Mamady Doumbouya.
Guinea's Minister of Planning, Ismael Nabe, praised Kuwait's vital role in supporting the country's development across various sectors, reflecting strong bilateral ties.
KFAED's Deputy Director General, Rashid Al-Bader, highlighted the project's significance in enhancing connectivity and mobility in Conakry, aligning with the city's Urban Development Master Plan for 2040.
Since 1976, KFAED has funded 15 projects in Guinea, totaling approximately USD 219.54 million, as well as grants to improve living conditions.
The inauguration underscores Kuwait's commitment to fostering sustainable development in African nations. (end)
