CAIRO, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Egypt and Saudi Arabia signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on transport and road expertise exchange.
The signing came on the sidelines of the 74th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Transport, chaired by Kuwait's Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan.
Following the signing, Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel Al-Wazeer said this partnership reflects the two countries' longstanding ties and commitment to opening new channels of cooperation amid regional challenges.
The MoU was signed by Al-Wazeer and Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser.
The MoU is expected to strengthen knowledge exchange, boost human resource development, and enhance scientific research in road infrastructure, offering opportunities for joint projects and professional skill-building for specialists in both countries. (end)
