NEW DELHI, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- India and Finland on Thursday agreed to deepen cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest.
Indian External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a statement that during the 13th India-Finland Foreign Office Consultations held in Helsinki, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in several areas.
During the consultation, led by both Indian Secretary (West) of Ministry of External Affairs Sibi George and Permanent State Secretary of Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland Jukka Salovaara, the entire gamut of India-Finland bilateral cooperation was reviewed.
Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in "trade and investment, digitalization, quantum computing, 5G/6G, AI, sustainability, clean technologies, economy, education, research and development, people-to-people ties and mobility", he said.
The Finnish side reiterated its support for early conclusion of India-EU FTA. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. (end)
