CAIRO, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- The Arab League and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications signed Monday a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in smart education, digital policies, and training programs.
The League's Secretariat said in a statement that the signing took place during the visit of University President Zou Mei to the League's headquarters, where she met with Minister Plenipotentiary Inas Al-Farjani, Supervisor of the Social Affairs Sector.
It added that the agreement aims to enhance cooperation and partnership between the League's Secretariat and Chinese academic institutions, particularly in development and training fields.
The cooperation includes holding an Arab-China Forum on digital policies and organizing short-term ICT training programs at the League's headquarters for students from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
It will also offer short-term programs on Chinese culture, language, and digital knowledge for Arab League staff, along with activities related to artificial intelligence and scientific research. (end)
