RAMALLAH, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation launched a series of air strikes on Gaza Strip last Tuesday night killing 63 Palestinians, including 24 children, reported local medical sources on Wednesday.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), 18 people including children and women were killed in what it described as a massacre following an airstrike that targeted a house belonging to the Abu Dalal family in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Several members of the family remain trapped under the rubble.
WAFA added that Israeli forces also bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Insan camp near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, killing five civilians.
It further reported that a young girl was killed and several others injured when occupation aircraft struck a home in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
In another attack targeting tents for displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area, a man and a child were killed, while five others were killed in a strike on a vehicle in Khan Younis.
Four members of the Al-Banna family, including a child and an infant, were killed when their home in Gaza City's Al-Sabra neighborhood was hit, leaving nine others wounded and several still missing under the debris.
Three more people, including a child, were killed in an airstrike near the Al-Yarmouk area.
WAFA also reported that three Palestinians were killed when occupation warplanes targeted a school sheltering displaced families in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, while another person was killed in a strike on a displacement tent south of Al-Nuseirat camp. (end) nq.aai
