BRUSSELS, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- The European Commissioner for Equality and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib expressed on Monday deep concern over the deteriorating humanitarian situation in El Fasher, North Darfur, Sudan, stressing that the city is witnessing "a humanitarian catastrophe reaching its peak." In a statement posted on X, Dalli said that "civilians are being killed and families are being forced to flee violence by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)," calling on all parties to the conflict in Sudan to strictly respect international humanitarian law.
