DOHA, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and visiting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed on Wednesday the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, especially the ceasefire agreement and flow of humanitarian aid into the enclave.
The Qatari Amiri Diwan said that the two leaders headed the 11th meeting the High Strategic Committee meeting between Qatar and Turkiye, exploring during the event ways to boost ties between the two sides, it was officially declared.
The meeting also touched on regional developments, particularly the Gaza Strip and efforts to support the ceasefire there, peace, and the entry of humanitarian aid.
A number of agreements and MoUs were signed between Qatar and Turkiye, the statement added. (end)
