By Mohammad Al-Mutairi KUWAIT, Oct 20 (KUNA) -- The State Audit Bureau of Kuwait (SAB) inaugurated on Monday a two-day cybersecurity exhibition featuring seminars and panel discussions with the participation of several government entities.
The event aims to raise awareness on cybersecurity, promote a culture of safe digital practices, and highlight the latest trends and best practices in the field.
SAB Undersecretary Yousef Al-Mazrouei told KUNA that the Bureau believes national partnerships are fundamental to institutional developments and sustainability, noting that exchanging knowledge and expertise with state institutions adds significant value to to enhancing SAB's oversight and professional roles.
Al-Mazrouei added that hosting the exhibition and discussion sessions with government partners reflects the Bureau's commitment to institutional cooperation and showcasing the state's efforts in development, governance, and efficiency He expressed gratitude for the participating entities, noting that their presence demonstrates shared responsibility and commitment to improving government performance, supporting reform and modernization efforts in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.
Al-Mazrouei stressed that the exhibition is more than an introductory event-it serves as a platform for dialogue, engagement, and collaboration between the Bureau and various state bodies to support development and transparency.
He expressed hope that the exhibition, seminars, and panel discussions will generate ideas and recommendations that help keep pace with rapid developments in cybersecurity.
The exhibition features a number of key sessions about the fundamentals of cybersecurity, protection against cyber threats and cybercrimes, and cybersecurity in the age of cloud computing and artificial intelligence. (end) md.dss
