KUWAIT, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Municipal Council, chaired by Abdullah Al-Mehri, approved on Sunday, during its extraordinary session a proposal issued under Ministerial Resolution No. 558 of 2023 to replace 591 street names with numbers.
The Council also endorsed the minutes of the Committee for Studying Proposals and Requests related to naming cities, suburbs, and areas, which included renaming three streets after Arab capitals and retaining 66 existing names. (end) ahm
