DOHA, Oct 14 (KUNA) -- Qatar secured qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, after defeating the UAE 2-1 in the fourth round of the AFC playoff qualifiers.
With this result, Qatar tops Group A with four points, followed by the UAE with three and Oman with one.
Meanwhile, Group B features Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Indonesia, with matches held in Jeddah.
