KUWAIT, Oct 12 (KUNA) -- The Municipality's (Baladia 139) application helps to directly connect with the public, answer their complaints, and resolve issues promptly, said a Municipality official on Sunday.
Speaking to KUNA, official spokesman and Director of Public Relations at the Kuwait Municipality Mohammad Al-Sandan said that the application aimed to streamline municipal services and speed up transactions.
He noted that complaints of violations were dealt with between four to 72 hours according to the level of the complaint, adding that the process of submitting the complaints was simplified via users taking photos of the said violation and sending it and the location through the application.
Municipal teams will be sent to deal with the situation and users will receive notifications with photos of the violation or complaint resolved, he affirmed.
He went on to say that, the application tracks the performance of municipal inspectors, executives, and employees in dealing with complaints and violations.
Executives could monitor the performance of municipal teams handling complaints through the application and are given monthly data to track performance, he affirmed.
Al-Sandan added that the Municipality would continue to update the application to avoid malfunctions and better serve the public. (end) tms.gta
