KHARTOUM, Oct 8 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Namaa charity has completed a wide array of development projects in Kenya that offer life-saving aid to impoverished families across the East African nation, it said on Wednesday.
These projects are part of Kuwaiti efforts to ratchet up humanitarian aid for the African continent, which runs the gamut from healthcare and relief to development, the charity's financial and administrative chief Waleed Al-Bassam told KUNA.
Such efforts come as per the directives of Kuwait's political leaders, who seek to further reinforce Kuwait's position in the humanitarian arena, he added. (end) mam.nam
