DOHA, Oct 5 (KUNA) -- Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman met on Sunday with visiting German Foreign Minister ohann Wadephul.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between their countries and ways to strengthen and enhance them, along with the latest developments in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestinian territories, as well as several other topics of mutual interest, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
The Qatari official underlined the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region through dialogue and peaceful means, it added. (end) sss.mt
