KUWAIT, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- The National Cyber Security Center and the Ministry of Interior launched on Thursday the national campaign for cyber security (awareness .. safeguard .. protection", coinciding the Global Cybersecurity Day.
They said in a joint statement that the campaign aimed at boosting the society's awareness of modern cyber hazards, enabling individuals to protect their digital data and accounts, in collaboration with the joint government application for electronic services, Sahel, and the government communication center.
It focuses on deep fake, passwords safety, online phishing, Wi-Fi security and privacy.
It also aims at boosting safe digital activities, such as usage of strong passwords, activating bilateral endorsement and posting warning messages to cut phishing. (end) ajr.rk
