By Duaa Shaaban MOSCOW, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's participation in the WorldFood Moscow exhibition 2025 shows the state's commitment to supporting and encouraging national industries and enhancing their competitiveness in foreign markets, Deputy Director General of the Export Development Sector at the Public Authority for Industry said on Tuesday.
In statements to KUNA, Mishari Al-Manawer stated that Kuwait is participating for the first time in this international exhibition and it has a pavilion that hosts products of 10 Kuwaiti food factories.
This participation represents an opportunity to promote national products and open new markets in Europe and the world, he said.
He noted that the exhibition is one of the most prominent food events in the world as brings together more than 300 factories from 33 countries.
It provides a platform for exchanging experiences and opening up prospects for commercial partnerships with major international companies, Al-Manawer added.
He affirmed that the Public Authority for Industry will continue its efforts to support the participation of Kuwaiti factories in specialized international exhibitions to enhance their contribution to the national economy and elevate the status of the Kuwaiti industry on the global level.
The WorldFood Moscow 2025 exhibition is taking place from September 16th to 19th, at the Crocus Expo in Moscow, Russia. This major event serves as a key platform for the global food and beverage industry, connecting manufacturers, buyers, distributors, and industry professionals.
The organizing committee said in a press statement that the event attracts more than 22,000 food industry professionals from around 90 countries each year and is seen as a prominent platform for promoting food products and opening new markets. (end) dan.ibi
