RAMALLAH, Sept 14 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation airstrikes and gunfire in Gaza City and northern Rafah killed 11 Palestinians and injured others on Sunday, according to Palestinian medical sources.
WAFA News Agency reported that seven were killed in a strike on a residential building in Al-Hawa neighborhood, while four others were shot dead while waiting for aid in northern Rafah.
Israeli occupation forces continue their large-scale offensive against Gaza City and surrounding areas as part of a broader military campaign that began in October 2023, and intensified with a ground invasion launched on August 11.
The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned what it called Israeli occupation's ongoing attacks on civilian infrastructure and accused it of committing war crimes under the pretext of targeting resistance. (end) nq.aai
